Special events may be held at the Foundation House. For example, local businesses may use it as a meeting place, Christmas parties or weddings can be held there, etc. Also, the House is a place where former residents, their families and friends can stay while visiting Ste. Marie. Since the Foundation is a charitable organization, we do no charge for the use of the house-relying instead on donations from those who stay there to meet our expenses. As a charitable organization, the Foundation wants former residents to maintain contact with Sainte Marie and make the Foundation House their "home away from home."
