Dedication of Loretta Zuber Garden, donated by her friends and nieces and nephews and Art Reception honoring Helen Keller Graham for her donation of 17 "Ladies in Hats" drawings to the Foundation. Wear a gala hat in honor of the occasion! You may win a prize for best hat!

Dr. James Litzelman Concert
Saturday, September 4, 2 p.m.
Piano Concert by Dr. James Litzelman, Profession of piano music at Catholic University, Washington, DC, and former Sainte Marie resident. This Foundation Fundraiser will be held at St. Mary's Church in Sainte Marie. Reception at the Foundation House immediately following concert.

Light Up the Village

Tree Lighting 3 p.m. the Saturday after Thanksgiving
Ste. Marie lights up from the day after Thanksgiving to January 1. Don’t miss seeing the huge decorated pine tree next to Village Hall as well as all the other decorations that residents provide. Photos are from the 2007 event, co-sponsored by the Sainte Marie Foundation and the Ste. Marie Community Club.

Country Dance – weekly
Every Monday (except if a holiday is on a Monday) at 7 p.m.-9 p.m. join country dancers and volunteer musicians for a gala country dance session. Partners not needed. Lots of line dancing and circle dances. Cost: $2.00 per person. Musicians and spouses are free. Location: St. Mary Parish Center, Ste. Marie.dance

St. Mary's Pre-Labor Day Picnic
Sunday before Labor Day. Dinner served from 11-5 p.m. Games, crafts, bingo, quilt and other raffles. Former residents often return for this annual event. St. Mary's Parish Hall 618.455.3155.
